businesses (owners, managers and office managers of small businesses) – sold to businesses

What you get

Who is out next week? Will the sales team still have enough people in early August? Who has booked no time off for the summer, and who will end the year with a negative PTO balance? The 2027 PTO Planner (US) answers these questions in one Excel workbook, with no macros, built for owners and managers of small businesses (5 to 50 people).

What it does not do

It does not set PTO rules: the U.S. Department of Labor states that the FLSA does not require payment for time not worked, such as vacations or holidays; PTO is a matter of agreement between employer and employee, and state or local rules may apply. You enter each person's carry-over and PTO from your own policy. Private employers choose which holidays they observe. It does not replace payroll software or employment advice. It only holds the 2027 schedule.

Dated official sources

2027 federal holidays and observed dates, and December 31, 2027 from the 2028 schedule: U.S. Office of Personnel Management (opm.gov, Federal Holidays), read on October 18, 2026. Payment for time not worked: U.S. Department of Labor, Vacation Leave, read on October 18, 2026.

Quality

No macros, no add-ins, no connections: your data stays in your file. Recalculated in Excel with 0 formula errors, on the sample and on the blank workbook, and checked against an independent recalculation (33,258 checks, 0 differences). Built for Excel.
